ΓΕΡΩΝ ΜΩΥΣΗΣ ΤΩΝ ΑΘΗΚΙΩΝ (+1946)
Κοιμήθηκε ειρηνικά το 1946 και ενταφιάστηκε στην Μονή Ευαγγελιστρίας, όπου βρίσκεται ο τάφος του.
Κατά την δεκαετία του 1970, το πνευματικό του τέκνο τότε Επίσκοπος Κορινθίας Κάλλιστος (στον οποίον ο Όσιος συνέστησε, κατά δήλωση του ιδίου, να μην απομακρυνθεί από την Εκκλησία και την ορθόδοξη ομολογία διά του Αγίου Πατρός Ματθαίου αν και τελικά τον παράκουσε, παρασυρθείς στο Φλωρινικό Σχίσμα) συνέγραψε τον βίο του αγίου Γέροντος Μωυσή. Αποσπάσματα δημοσιεύονται εδώ και αφορούν σε θαύματα του οσίου και στο προορατικό του Γέροντος Μωυσή, καθώς και την οσιακή του κοίμηση.
Righteous father of Athikia Moses born on the island Kastelorizo, in 1872 by devout parents. He worked till 22 years old as a seaman when he entered as a novice monk at the Monastery of Three Fathers of Chios (Nikitas, Joseph and John) in Mount of Provateio after the introduction of the Papal New Calendar fled to Mount Athos. Spiritual stature of Righteous Pachomios of Chios (1905) and of brother- monk of St. Nektarios, Metropolitan of Pentapolis (1920). Later, Saint Moses founded the monastery of St. Marina in Sofiko, of Holy Archangels in Athikia and of

ELDER MOSES OF ATHIKIA (1946)
Annunciation in Athikia (Corinth), which belonged to the Church of G.O.C. of Greece under the pastoral guidance of the then Bishop of Vresthenis and later Archbishop of Athens St. Matthew the Confessor (1950), with whom he collaborated on the progress of the holy struggle of True Orthodox Church.
He reposed peacefully in 1946 and he was buried in the monastery of Annunciation, where is his grave.
During the 1970s, his spiritual child of then Bishop Kallistos of Corinth (in whom the Saint recommended, as Kallistos declared himself, not to depart from the Church and the Orthodox confession by the Holy Father Matthew, although ultimately he disobeyed, carried away in Florinite Schism) wrote the life of St. Moses the Elder.
